The Elite Lottery 2014 Draft

Good Evening Gentlemen –

Welcome to the 2014 The Elite League NFL Lottery Draft. In nine years of playing fantasy football, we’ve done an Auto Draft, Live Draft & Online Draft…but never have we known our picks more than 30 minutes prior to draft. We will still be following a Snake Draft format and Draft Day: September 1^st, 2014. Below are the lottery selection results based upon to NFL.com randomization:

2. Sons of Thunder
3. Sesame Street Gang
4. Heartbreak Kid
5. Limited Edition
6. The Sith
7. Orange Crush
8. JB
9. Sean Dale
10. The Bane

In an electronic vote, 8 of 10 General Managers voted “Yes” to this process for 2014. Looking toward the future, my only question would be how far in advance would do you all want to know your picks: Labor Day weekend? A week? Two? A Month? We can go back to spontaneous next year if you so vote. For now celebrate, complain, mock draft, trade picks, etc.

Since this is all new to the League, as Commish, I’m establishing one rule (no votes) for 2014’s draft:  
For any trading of draft positions to be official they must be posted on either the message boards before draft or on the chat of our online draft. You can’t perform a trade in the season without everyone being informed…you can’t trade a draft position in secrecy either.   

• All confirmed draft trades must be publicized and communicated to me prior to draft (9 PM EST) as NFL.com doesn’t allow me to interfere with draft 30 minutes prior to its start.
