Tuesday Morning Hangovers...

I know we did draft a little early this year but the message boards are kind of dry…like Tombstone, Arizona dry…(except this league is full of females so there’s neither Earps or Clantons) and if the only thing to read is “Hangovers” I’m going to have to start signing off as Doc Holliday…

Rave of the Week
There are a variety of fantasy football leagues. I’ve always been a fan of ours the most but next year I want you all to consider trying something new and I’ve narrowed down to the three I think that would be the most fun to try!

Auction League: On Draft day you’re giving $200.00 (fake) and you bid for the players you want on your team. Pros: Everyone has a chance at every player! Cons: If you spend up all your money on like the top three players, you’re screwed at like six positions…

PPR League: Points-per-reception. Pros: It adds points to the game; you get an additional point for every time your guy catches the ball, regardless of the yards. Cons: It’s another factor that can stress you out when you’re up by like 10 points and your opponent has Darren Sproles left to play…

Two Quarterbacks: The game of football is changing and we’re seeing less run and more passing. By starting two QBs, we’ll be evolving with the game as well.

Rant of the Week

So there’s this new option released by NFL.com. Let’s say you lose a game this weekend because the flex option you decided to go with only put up two points (meanwhile the guy you left on the bench dropped thirty). NFL now allows you be able to substitute in the stud player at the end of the game (for a small fee, of course). If ever there was a way to ruin fantasy football, this is it! The whole point of the game is to START the right players! You see, this is why the world is going to come to an end…

I’m out like Dan’s grill, already open and set up for game day…
