Rave of the Week
Ah…the days following draft is almost like the days leading up till Christmas. So much anticipation, excitement and all around joy for the game of football. However there's always that lingering thought in the back of your mind; you haven’t opened your gifts yet. In one gift you might be expecting a Xbox CJ2k or an Superman Cam Newton action figure but instead you get socks...socks!? Man, that's messed up...however the season has yet to start so for now we all get to keep dreaming of the sugar plume "sleeper picks" that our dancing in your head of your season to come. Enjoy this time of year, because for now all we can do is sit and wait...
Rant of the Week
Next to winning the championship, draft day might be the second greatest day to happen in a fantasy football season. And if draft day is Christmas, the days following is like “boxing day.” Your once awesome team, now looks like last year’s toys…suddenly you start looking at what other kids are playing with, you start remembering who you shouldn’t have passed on and just like that, Christmas is officially over. If you’ve reached this point the best seasonal advice I can give comes from Frosty, “as he waved goodbye saying don’t you cry…” (It’s never too late to start planning for next year...)
I’m out like Christmas day, on to a New Year…
